Vijay Sethupathi signs his next in Malayalam; Nithya Menen to play the female lead

After making his M-Town debut with an extended cameo role in the Jayaram starrer ‘Marconi Mathai’, Vijay Sethupathi has signed his second Malayalam film. Debutant Indu VS will be directing the film. Nithya Menen has been roped in as the female lead. Anto Joseph will be producing the film.

Director Indu herself has scripted the film, which is yet to be titled. As per the makers, the film has a pan-Indian subject that demands an actor of the stature of Vijay Sethupathi at the helm. Nithya Menen will also be seen in an equally important role. This is the first time the two talented actors are coming together; so it will be interesting to see their on-screen chemistry.

The makers are planning to start shooting soon. Due to the restrictions placed till October 30, they will first begin with the indoor portions. Govind Vasantha has already started composing songs for the film and State award winner Manesh Madhavan will be handling the cinematography.
