Vijay Sethupathi sports a new look for playing his younger portions in ’96’

Vijay Sethupathi is currently on an all time high after delievering the biggest success of his career- Vikram Vedha. The cop-gangster action drama, also starring Madhavan has emerged as a huge box office success. The actor is currently busy shooting for 96, a coming of age romantic drama directed by C Prem Kumar.

Vijay Sethupathi is paired opposite Trisha for the first time with this film. The former, known for experimenting various looks has done it once again for this movie. Reportedly, the movie travels through three different stages of the protagonist’s life.

Vijay Sethupathi will be seen sporting multiple looks in the movie. He has undergone a new makeover by shaving off his grey beard and sporting a new hairstyle. Reportedly, this will be his look for the younger portions of his character in 96. Some location stills of the movie is seen doing the rounds in social medias.

Earlier in an interview, actress Trisha had said that 96 will be a beautiful romantic film like Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya. The movie is being shot in picturesque locations in Spiti Valley, Rajasthan, and Kolkata. Veteran actor Janakaraj, Vinothini and Kaali Venkat are also playing prominent roles in the movie.

Thaikkudam Bridge band fame Govind P Menon is composing the music and cinematography is being handled by N Shanmuga Sundaram. Nandagopal is producing this movie under the banner of Madras Enterprises.
