Vijay Sethupathi to work with a multiple Oscar award winner

Vijay Sethupathi is probably one of the busiest actors in K Town. The actor currently has around seven projects in his kitty. One of the most exciting among them is Seethakathi, directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan. Vijay Sethupathi is playing the role of a stage performer in the movie. He will be seen in three different age groups – that of a 75, 50 and 30-year-old.

The makers have roped in Greg Cannon, a renowned make-up artist from Los Angeles to perfect Vijay Sethupathi’s three different looks in Seethakathi. Greg has won three Oscar awards for the movies Mrs. Doubtfire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Dracula. He has previously worked with Shah Rukh Khan for Fan. His work in the movie won him a lot of appreciation from the Indian critics. He also did the prosthetics for veteran actor Rishi Kapoor in the movie, Kapoor And Sons.

Seethakathi marks the 25th film of Vijay Sethupathi. This is also his second film with director Balaji Tharaneetharan after the comic caper Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. Parvathy, Remya Nambeesan, Gayathrie and Mahendran are also part of the cast. The movie is being produced jointly by Sudhan Sundaram, Umesh, Jayaram and Arun Vaidyanathan under the banner of Passion Studios.
