Vijay’s next with AR Murugadoss likely to start rolling this month!

2017 was a great year for actor Vijay. Though his first release of the year, Bairavaa failed to live up to the expectations, Mersal made up for that with its record breaking collections. The Atlee directorial shattered several pre-exisiting records and is currently ranked as the industrial hit of Kollywood. After Mersal, Vijay has signed his next with hit maker AR Murugadoss.

Vijay 62 aka Thalapathy 62 is one of the most awaited films of 2018. The actor shares a great record with Murugadoss as both their previous films – Thuppakki and Kaththi – were big blockbusters and are placed in the elite 100 crore club. Pre-production works for their upcoming movie is going on in full swing. The director and his team is currently busy finalizing the crew members while Vijay was last seen enjoying a mini vacation in Dubai.

Reportedly, the makers are planning to start shooting by the end of this month or from the first week of February. Sun Pictures is making a comeback to production by backing this big budget film. Their last venture was the blockbuster Rajinikanth starrer Enthiran, released back in 2010.

Malayali cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, multiple National award winning editor Sreekar Prasad and art director T Santhanam have already been confirmed. Reportedly, the makers are in talks with maestro AR Rahman but an official word has not yet been given.
