Vikram’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ was postponed again; Gautham Menon came out with an apology

The anticipation for ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ with Chiyaan Vikram helmed by director Gautham Menon has hit yet another roadblock. Originally set for a grand unveiling on 24th November, the film’s release has been deferred, adding to the prolonged financial hurdles it has faced for six years.

Director Gautham Menon, in a heartfelt statement, expressed regret for the delay, citing persisting financial obstacles that require an extra day or two to resolve. His reassurance about delivering a quality experience globally, complete with advanced bookings and optimal screening arrangements, echoes hope amid this setback.

However, this delay isn’t a standalone occurrence. ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ has been marred by a series of postponements since its inception in 2017, leaving fans eagerly waiting for its elusive release.

The situation intensified as legal battles unfolded, with Gautham Menon and his team facing legal action. The Madras High Court mandated a substantial payment of Rs 2 crore to All In Pictures, setting a deadline for the film’s release, a deadline that wasn’t met, evidently complicating matters further.

Presently, discussions and negotiations between the involved parties are underway, promising a potential resolution that could pave the way for the film’s long-awaited premiere.

‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ boasts an ensemble cast including Ritu Varma, R Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran, Vinayakan, and Dhivyadharshini alongside Chiyaan Vikram. Directed and produced by Gautham Menon, the film also enlists the expertise of editor Anthony and composer Harris Jayaraj.

While the film’s fate hangs in the balance, the unwavering support from fans continues to fuel optimism. As Gautham Menon remains determined to surmount these challenges, the imminent resolution could herald the arrival of ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ to the silver screen, promising an espionage-laden cinematic spectacle.
