Villain will be released in 3 languages simultaneously!

Mohanlal’s Villain is in the final stages of production and is gearing up for release. The movie, directed by B Unnikrishnan has an ensmeble star cast that includes actors like Vishal, Hansika Motwani, Manju Warrier, Srikanth and Raashi Khanna. Shoot for the movie has already been wrapped up and the team is currently busy with the post production works.

An exciting bit of information we get is that the makers are planning to release the movie in 3 languages simultaneously. Presumably, the movie will be released in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages. Besides Mohanlal, the movie also has the presence of big stars like Vishal, Hansika and Srikanth who can pull non-Keralites to theatres. This is a great move by the makers which will definitely boost the box office earnings.

Villain is touted to be a crime thriller in which Mohanlal is playing the role of Mathew Manjooran, a police officer. He will be appearing in two different looks, one during his days as a policeman and the other post his retirement. Manju Warrier is playing his wife’s role in the movie.

Vishal is said to be essaying the antagonist’s role and Hansika also has a grey shaded character in the film. Villain is a big budget movie produced by Rockline Venkatesh, his first venture in Malayalam. It is the first Indian movie to be shot completely and released in 8K resolution.
