Villain’s character posters are out; Introducing Vishal, Hansika, Srikanth and Raashi Khanna to Mollywood

Mohanlal’s Villain is one of the most awaited films of the season. The movie is currently in it’s final stages of post production. Popular South Indian actors Vishal, Hansika Motwani, Srikanth and Raashi Khanna are making their Mollywood debut with this movie.

Director B Unnikrishnan released the character posters of the four actors today. Vishal’s character is named as Shaktivel Palaniswami and he is reportedly playing a doctor in the movie. Hansika plays Sreya, who presumbaly is a singer. Telugu actor Srikanth’s Felix D Vincent is a grey shaded character and Raashi Khanna as Harshita Chopra plays a police officer.

Director B Unnikrishnan, along with these character posters wrote,

‘These Characters are getting ready to confront Mathew Manjooran essayed by the one and only Mohanlal!’

Villain is a crime thriller in which Mohanlal will be seen as Mathew Manjooran, a police officer. He will be appearing in two different looks, one during his days as a policeman and the other post his retirement. Manju Warrier is playing his wife’s role in the movie.

Villain is a big budget movie produced by Rockline Venkatesh, his first venture in Malayalam. It is the first Indian movie to be shot completely and released in 8K resolution. The makers are planning to release it in 3 languages (Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu) simultaneously. An official word regarding the release date is expected to be announced very soon.
