Vinayakan and Manju Warrier team up for ‘Pothu’

Vinayakan and Manju Warrier are coming together for the first time for a film titled ‘Pothu’. Debutant Saheer Mahmood is scripting and directing the film, shoot for which is set to begin next month. Along with Vinayakan and Manju, the cast also includes Lal and Siddique in major roles. Jinu Lona is producing the film under the banner of Wellborn International. More details are expected to be revealed during the official announcement.

Vinayakan’s next release will be ‘Pranaya Meenukalude Kadal’, directed by veteran Kamal. He also has ‘Karinthandan’, to be directed by Leeela Santhosh, coming up. Manju Warrier, on the other hand, has some very interesting films lined up. Her debut Tamil film, ‘Asuran’, in which she shares screen space with Dhanush is gearing up for release on October 4.

Manju is currently shooting for the Rosshan Andrrews directorial ‘Prathi Poovankozhi’, which is scripted by Unni R. Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s ‘Ahar’ (Kayattam) is another film in her kitty. The actress has also signed for her brother Madhu Warrier’s debut directorial, which also stars Biju Menon.
