Vinayan Announces Sequel of Athbhutha Dweepu with Unni Mukundan in Lead Role

Director Vinayan, renowned for delivering super-hit entertainers in the Malayalam film industry, has exciting news for his fans. Recently, he officially unveiled his plans for the sequel to his sensational hit “Athbhutha Dweepu,” starring the talented Unni Mukundan in the lead role. This eagerly anticipated project, titled “Athbhutha Dweepu 2,” is set to begin production in 2024, and fans are eager to witness the magic that Vinayan will create on the silver screen once again.

Vinayan, the visionary filmmaker with an impressive track record, has added one more promising project to his upcoming lineup. Besides “Athbhutha Dweepu 2,” he is currently working on a movie featuring Siju Wilson as the lead, marking their second collaboration since the successful big-budget movie “Pathonpatham Noottand,” released last year.

For “Athbhutha Dweepu 2,” Vinayan has entrusted the scripting duties to the rising star writer Abhilash Pillai, who gained fame with the runaway success of “Malikappuram” last year.
