Vineeth Sreenivasan and Nivin Pauly to team up once again?

Today marks the fifth anniversary of Thattathin Marayathu’s release. The Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial starring Nivin Pauly and Isha Talwar in the lead roles was a huge success in the box office. As the movie celebrates it’s 5th anniversary, Nivin Pauly has shared it’s trailer in his Facebook page. He has also mentioned about a surprise for the audience which will be announced on this Saturday. His post reads,

That’s 5 years of Thattathin Marayathu! How quickly time passes & how it changed many of our lives. Thank you Vineeth Sreenivasan. While the memories are still mint fresh, there is a good news in connection to this. Watch out this space on Saturday eve, July 8th!

There is a buzz in social medias about a possible reunion of Nivin Pauly and Vineeth Sreenivasan for a new venture. The duo have been thick friends for years now and Nivin considers Vineeth as his mentor. The former made his debut in 2012 with Vineeth Sreenivasan’s debut directorial Malarvadi Arts Club. Two years later, it was again Vineeth who gave Nivin a big break and image makeover from a bearded rough guy to a charming romantic hero with Thattathin Marayathu. The duo last teamed up for the superhit family entertainer Jacobinte Swargarajyam, released last year.

It was reported that Vineeth will be taking a break from his professional commitments to spend time with his wife and newborn baby boy. So it is not yet clear if Vineeth is planning to wear the director’s hat once again. Nivin on the other hand has a list of movies lined up in his kitty. He is currently busy shooting for Geetu Mohandas’ Moothon while awaiting the release of his first straight Tamil movie Richie.

Besides that, he has committed for two other movies in Tamil; both with debutant filmmakers, Hey Jude with Shyamaprasad and Rosshan Andrews’ movie based on Kayamkulam Kochunni, written by Bobby-Sanjay.
