Vineeth Sreenivasan-Biju Menon starrer Thankam’s first look grabs attention

We had earlier reported about Vineeth Sreenivasan and Biju Menon teaming up for ‘Thankam’, to be directed by Saheed Arafath of ‘Theeram’ fame. As the film gears up for release early next year, the makers have begun the promotions. They kick-started it by releasing the first look. It features Biju Menon, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Aparna Balamurali.

The film scripted by Syam Pushkaran was originally announced with Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Joju George as the leads. However, the delay caused due to the pandemic has resulted in a few changes in the cast.

As confirmed by the makers, ‘Thankam’ is a crime drama. Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Pothan and Fahadh Faasil are also involved in the production of ‘Thankam’. They are jointly producing it under their banners of Working Class Hero and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. They have previously produced ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ and ‘Joji’. According to them, ‘Thankam’ is the biggest film to come out of their banners.

‘Thankam’ has Gautham Sankar as the cinematographer, Bijibal as the music director anr Kiran Das as the editor.
