Virunnu: Arjun Sarja to play the lead in Kannan Thamarakkulam’s next

Veteran Tamil actor Arjun Sarja is playing the lead in a new Malayalam film titled ‘Virunnu’. It is directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam and scripted by Dinesh Pallath. Last day, the makers released the film’s title poster.

‘Virunnu’ marks the fifth outing of director Kannan Thamarakkulam and scriptwriter Dinesh Pallath together. The duo has previously teamed up for ‘Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare’, ‘Aadupuliyattam’, ‘Pattabhiraman’ and ‘Maradu 357’. Their new film ‘Virunnu’ is expected to be a thriller.

Along with the title poster, the makers have also announced the cast and crew. Mukesh, Nikki Galrani, Asha Sarath, Baiju Santhosh, Aju Varghese, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Hareesh Peradi, Dracula Sudheer and Gireesh Neyyar are part of the film. ‘Virunnu’ will have music by Ratheesh Vega and Sanadh George Grace. Cinematography is Ravichandran and VT Sreejith handles the edits.

Amidst the rising Covid cases in the State, the team has managed to successfully complete the first schedule, which lasted for 17 days.
