Vishak Nair, Kuppi from Aanandam in Mammootty’s Puthan Panam

Megastar Mammootty has started shooting for his next movie Puthan Panam directed by Ranjith. Mammootty will be playing the character Nithyananda Shenoy in the movie.

Aanandam fame Vishak Nair who played the character Kuppi, will be playing a part in Puthan Panam. The excited actor shared the big news through his official Facebook page.

Vishak Nair was appreciated for his performance as K U Unnikrishnan Pillai, fondly called Kuppi by his friends. He had his moments in Aanandam, when a throughout jovial Kuppi emotes and shows his other side to his friends.

Playing a part in a Mammootty starrer directed by an ace filmmaker like Ranjith, that too in his second movie is indeed a moment of pride and joy for Vishak Nair.

Meanwhile, Aanandam has entered its sixth week of theatrical run successfully. The movie is releasing in UAE from December 1.

Puthan Panam also stars Siddique, Renji Panicker, Mamukoya, Sai Kumar, Ineya, Harish Kanaran, Nirmal Palazhi, Swaraj and many other actors in supporting roles.

The movie is produced by 3 Color Cinemas, a new production company owned by director Ranjith, actor Arun Narayanan and a Mumbai based businessman Abraham Mathew.
