Whimsy Takes Flight: First Look of ‘Painkili’ Starring Anaswara Rajan and Sajin Gopu Unveiled

The first-look poster of Painkili, a new Malayalam movie starring Anaswara Rajan and Sajin Gopu, has been unveiled, sparking intrigue and anticipation among movie enthusiasts. Directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Sreejith Babu, the poster offers a glimpse into a quirky, whimsical world set against the backdrop of an old tiled house.

In the poster, Anaswara is seen blowing soap bubbles, while Sajin Gopu floats mid-air, leaving the family members around them visibly stunned. This imaginative and playful imagery hints at an unconventional narrative, setting high expectations for the film.

Jointly produced by Fahadh Faasil and Jithu Madhavan under their respective banners, Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Urban Animal, Painkili boasts an impressive team behind the scenes. Jithu Madhavan, known for helming hits like Romancham and Aavesham, has penned the script, adding to the film’s creative promise.

Sajin Gopu, best remembered for his role as Amban in Aavesham alongside Fahadh Faasil’s Rangan Chettan, marks his debut as a lead actor in this film. A versatile performer with notable appearances in Churuli, Jan.E.Man, Romancham, Neymar, and Chaver, Sajin’s transition to a protagonist has already generated excitement.
