White release postponed and Mollywood Vishu will be with Theri

Summer releases of Mollywood had started to hit the screens all over and two releases had already come to the screens. They are Dulquer Salmaan- Sameer Thahir film Kali and Dileep- Siddique-Lal film King Liar. Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial film starring Jacobinte Swargarajyam will hit the screens on April 8 as per reports. But the Vishu release of Mollywood was said to be White directed by Udaya Ananthan starring Mammootty and Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi.

Apart from that Kollywood flick Theri starred by Vijay and directed by Atlee and Bollywood film Fan starred by Shahrukh Khan also all set to hit the screens in this Vishu here. It was expected to be a tight fight at box office on Vishu Day here between Mollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood films. But as per the latest reports  which comes from our industry, Mammootty starrer film White has been postponed its release and this Vishu will be with Vijay starrer Theri as it will be a big release here in Mollywood on the Vishu Day.

As per reports White is postponed to a date after April 20. Some says it may come only in May as well. But as of now, no date has been fixed for its release. As this Mollywood film had withdrawn from the box office fight, now it is almost sure that Theri will rule Mollywood box office in this Vishu season. Friday Film House in association with Carnival Motion Pictures Private Limited had acquired the rights to distribute Theri here in Mollywood and it will be a grand release as per reports. The film is coming with lot of hope and anticipation level is damn too high for this flick.

There are films like Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti starring Kunchacko Boban, Aadu Puliyattam starring Jayaram also gearing up for summer release. But they also not announced the date officially. There are reports that Prithviraj starrer flick James and Alice also may come as the summer release and it may be released in the last week of April as per unconfirmed reports.
