Will Kammatipaadam surpass Kali first day collection record ?

After Kali, next Dulquer Salmaan film is getting ready to hit the screens all over and the latest release of his will be Kammatipaadam directed by Rajeev Ravi and written by P Balachandran. The film is produced by Global United Media and will be a film which tells the history of Goonda gangs in Kochi.

The teaser and the official trailer which come out later had become viral in social media and now it had become one of the most anticipated films of the year 2016. It is said to be the first commercial entertainer directed by Rajeev Ravi as he had given us realistic films like Annayum Rasoolum and Njan Steve Lopez earlier. As the hype around this film is increasing day by day, everybody is looking forward to the event of Kammatipaadam breaking the first day collection record set by Kali, which released in this year March.

Kali directed by Sameer Thahir which had Dulquer Salmaan and Sai Pallavi in the lead may not become a blockbuster but set a new opening day collection record in Malayalam as it had raked in a figure of 2.33 crores on its first day from Kerala by breaking Mohanlal’s Loham which got around 2.20 crores on its first day. Now, Kammatipaadam getting great hype and if that hype turn into box office collection, then there is every chance that this film may break the record set by Kali on its opening day.

Madhu Neelakandan cranked the camera for this film and artists like Vinay Fort, Vinayakan, P Balachandran, Shine Tom Chacko etc playing key roles in it.
