Yesterday was a day of celebration for Vijay fans, as the first look poster and title of Ilaya Thalapathy’s upcoming film directed by Raja Rani fame director Atlee has come out after long waiting. And when it came it had become viral and trending in all social media platforms and getting fabulous reception from all over. The title of the film is Theri and such a mass title had really wake up all Vijay fans who were in a bit of disappointment after the debacle of Vijay’s previous film Puli directed by Chimbu devan in this year October.

But now everyone looking for another interesting thing as well. Everyone now believes that Ilaya Thalapathy’s Theri will beat the collection records created by Ajith’s Vedalam recently in Tamil Nadu Box office. Vedalam has beaten some records at box office which was held previously by Vijay-AR Murugados team’s blockbuster film Kaththi which released last year.

Kaththi had created many records at box office and grossed more than 100 crore from box office as well. Vedalam also does it as per reports or on the verge of crossing at as financer of the film says. It already hailed as the biggest hit of Ajith’s career as well. There is a fight between Vijay and Ajith fans in online medias regarding the records of their star’s film as well.

Now when we see the frenzy over the first look poster and title of the upcoming Vijay film in which he is playing an out and out cop role for the first time in his career, it seems that it will break all the existing collection records when it comes out on the silver screen.

There are so much expectation on it because it is directing by Atlee who already one the appreciation of class and mass loving audience alike through his previous film Raja Rani. When a promising and talented film maker joins hands with the biggest star in the town anything can happen in the box office and It really seems Ajith’s Vedalam records are in real trouble with Theri is coming early next year on silver screen.
