It’s a wrap for the Kerala schedule of Nayanthara-Nivin Pauly starrer Love Action Drama

Actor Dhyan Sreenivasan’s directorial debut Love Action Drama (LAD) starring Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara in the lead went on floors earlier this month. The team has already wrapped up their Kerala schedule. The makers have shared some location photos in social medias. After experimenting with his get ups in his last few outings, Nivin Pauly is back to his bearded handsome-young man look. He is teaming up with Nayanthara for the first time and cinephiles are eagerly looking forward to watch their on-screen chemistry.

Dhyan himself has scripted this movie, which is actually a modern day take on the yesteryear hit film ‘Vadakkunokkiyanthram’, directed by his father Sreenivasan. Interestingly, the lead characters in LAD are also named as Dineshan and Shobha. Following the announcement of the title and character names, it was speculated to be a spoof but Dhyan has denied it.

Nayanthara plays a Palakkad Brahmin girl in the movie while Nivin is someone who belongs to a rich family. The movie traces the lives of these two people. Nivin Pauly’s character will have a few similarities to Dineshan of Vadakkunokkiyanthram, but there will be no other resemblance. Aju Varghese, Urvashi, Dhanya Balakrishnan, Sreenivasan and Jude Anthany Joseph are also part of the supporting cast.

Love Action Drama has music by the ever reliable Shaan Rahman. Aju Varghese is venturing into production by funding this movie jointly with Vishak Subramaniam under the banner of Funtastic Films.
