Writer Sethu enters direction through Mammootty’s movie

Sachy-Sethu was a popular scriptwriting duo in Malayalam industry. They have worked together for movies like Chocolate, Robinhood, Makeup Man, Seniors and Doubles.

The duo later parted ways and started working as independent script writers.

Sachy entered direction in 2015 with the superhit romantic movie Anarkali starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. Now, Sethu is also making his directorial debut with a family entertainer starring Megastar Mammootty in the lead.

Mammootty meanwhile is busy shooting for director Ranjith’s Puthan Panam. After Puthan Panam, he will joining the sets of 7th Day fame Shyam Dhar’s upcoming movie. Shoot for Sethu’s movie will commence only after completing both these projects.

Puthan Panam is scheduled to release on April 7 as a Vishu release. The Great Father, directed by debutant Haneef Adeni will be the next release on januaray 27 ,so the audience were waiting to see eagerly the most stylist star after thoppil joppan on screen

Sethu is also busy scripting for the multi starrer Achayans directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam. Achayans stars Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Unni Mukundan, Sanju Sivaram, Adil Ibrahim and Amala Paul in the lead.

Sethu has earlier scripted individually for movies like Mallu Singh, I Love Me, Salaam Kashmier and Cousins
