Yami Gautam ties the knot with Uri director Aditya Dhar
Bollywood actor Yami Gautam has got married filmmaker Aditya Dhar. The couple made the announcement by sharing an adorable photo from their wedding ceremony. Going by the photos, the wedding ceremony was a simple affair with only close friends and family members in attendance.
Announcing their wedding with the photo, the couple wrote,
“In your light, I learn to love- Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes.

Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar have worked together in ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, directed by the latter. The film won a total of four National awards including one for the Best Director. Aditya is currently working on ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’, which stars Vicky Kaushal as the lead. It is said to be a superhero action film set in modern times and is being planned as a trilogy.
Yami Gautam, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Behzad Khambata directorial ‘A Thursday’, in which she plays the role of a playschool teacher who takes 16 children as hostages. Apart from ‘A Thursday’, Yami will soon be seen in ‘Bhoot Police’, where she stars alongside Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Saif Ali Khan. She will also be seen in ‘Dasvi’ alongside Abhishek Bachcha.
