Zakariya likely to team up with Fahadh Faasil next

After winning hearts with the National-award winning ‘Sudani From Nigeria’, Zakariya is now working on ‘Halal Love Story’. The new film starring Joju George, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sharafudheen and Grace Antony is slated for Vishu release. After its release, Zakariya is most likely to team up with Fahadh Faasil. It will be the first time the director will be working on someone else’s script. More details are expected to be revealed soon.

Zakariya’s next release ‘Halal Love Story’ is a feel-good family drama. The film is scripted jointly by him and Muhsin Parari, who both had also penned ‘Sudani From Nigeria’. Filmmaker Aashiq Abu is producing the film along with Jesna Ashim and Harshad Ali.

Fahadh Faasil meanwhile is set to join the sets of ‘Thankam’, which will be directed by Saheed Arafath of ‘Theeram’ fame. National award winner Syam Pushkaran is scripting the film that also stars Dileesh Pothan and Joju George in lead roles. Fahadh, Syam and Dileesh Pothan are also involved in the film’s production. Fahadh has also committed for a film with debutant director Sajimon.
