Zakariya’s Halal Love Story confirmed as Vishu release!

‘Halal Love Story’ is Zakariya’s second film after his National award winning directorial debut, ‘Sudani From Nigeria’. The new film has Joju George, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sharafudheen and Grace Antony in the lead roles. Filmmaker Aashiq Abu is producing the film along with Jesna Ashim and Harshad Ali.

The makers have confirmed that the film will be hitting screens for Vishu 2020. Aashiq Abu announced the same by releasing a couple of posters through his official social media handle. One poster features Indrajith Sukumaran and Grace Antony while the other has Sharafudheen, Joju George, Soubin Shahir and Abhiram Pothuval.

‘Halal Love Story’ looks like a feel-good comedy film. Earlier in a Facebook post, Indrajith had written that his character in the film is one be the most layered humour roles that he has done so far. The film is scripted jointly by Zakariya and Muhsin Parari, who both had also penned ‘Sudani From Nigeria’.

Ajay Menon is the cinematographer and edits will be handled by Saiju Sreedharan. Bijibal and Shahabaz Aman are jointly composing the music.
