Namasthe Bali Review

The latest release in Mollywood this week is Namasthe Bali directed by K.V Bejoy and in one word we can sum it up as absolute crap. The title of the film makes you feel that something fresh is there in the film. But that is really a wrong thought. The story of the film take place in the island of bali in Indonesia and we see an engagement in the outset, of Chandy played by Aju Varghese and Annamma played by Roma. But Chandy went missing after the engagement without any reason and Annama herself went in search her future husband.

The film had too many unwanted scenes which have no connection to each other and the standard of comedy is just pathetic to say the least. There are many characters which only speak nonsense and the scripting was so poor that it does not establish any connection with the scenes and events in the film. Annama played by Roma who reaches Bali meets Sunny played by Manoj K Jayan and also some other malayalai people. Sunny and his chef character played by Balu Vaghese helps her in there and at last she able to found out Chandy who really cheated her, but in a really unexpected situation.

The story mainly dealt with the transformation that the character of Annamma undergoes after she reaches Bali. She was a very conservative girls before and the experiences in life makes her a dynamic and confident girl and that makes Chandy who left her to come-back to her. It’s a kind f revenge he took on him for leaving her but in rather comical way. They tries it to be a hilarious one but failed miserably.

The performance of the artists has nothing to boast off. Roma is looking pretty but has nothing to do in it. Aju Varghese just has to repeat what does in other films. And other actors like Manoj K Jayan, Balu Varghese. Sunil Sughatha, Devan, Neena Kuruppu etc also have nothing much to do and the scripting was terrible which made them all the more weak. They intended it to be a fun ride, but for the spectators it is a disaster. Gopi sundar’s bgm and songs were just raised to the average level and the camera work does not impressed at all.

We recommend all of you to save your money rather than wasting it completely by watching these kind of craps.
