Ezra Malayalam movie teaser review

Malayalam cinema was always known for its out of the box themes and our success in trying out a variety of genres.

Horror thriller is the only genre in which Malayalam filmmakers have not had great success. Only very few movies are there in Mollywood that can be called as a quality horror movie.

Only a handful of horror movies like Bhargavi Nilayam, Lisa, Akashaganga etc have pleased the audience in Kerala.

Prithviraj’s upcoming movie Ezra is a much expected horror thriller. Teaser for the movie was released today, a perfect one with all signs of a brilliant movie in the offing.

The cinematography and sound design shown in the teaser were apt to create a spooky atmosphere.

Malayali audience who embrace movies regardless of the language have always had particular liking for horror movies, especially the Hollywood ones.

The success of movies like Conjuring and Lights Out is a testament to that. Ezra promises to be one such movie with high standards especially considering the technical aspects.

Ezra is written and directed by debutant Jayakrishnan aka Jay K. The film is produced by is produced by Mukesh R Mehta and C V Saradhi under the banner E 4 Entertainment.

Popular south Indian actress Priya Anand is making her way into Mollywood through this movie. Tovino Thomas, Sudev Nair, Bharat Dabholkar and many others play supporting roles in the movie.
