Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Pandey trailer out

The makers of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bachchhan Pandey’ have released the film’s trailer. Also starring Kriti Sanon and Arshad Warsi, it is the remake of hit Tamil film, ‘Jigarthanda’. From the 3-minute long trailer, we understand that Akshay is playing a menacing gangster’s role, originally done by Bobby Simha. He had won a National Award for his performance in the film.

Kriti Sanon is reprising Siddharth’s role of the filmmaker. Jacqueline Fernandez plays Akshay’s romantic interest. Farhad Samji is directing the film and it is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. From the trailer it is evident that a few changes have been made in the Hindi version, apart from upgrading the scale of making.

‘Bachchhan Pandey’ looks like a solid mass entertainer with power-packed action scenes, comedy and songs. The film also has the presence of fine supporting actors in Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Sanjay Mishra, Abhimanyu Singh and Saharsh Kumar Shukla.

The film is set to hit screens during Holi on 18 March, 2022.
