Amazon Prime shares new trailer of Malik

As reported recently, Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘Malik’ is coming directly on Amazon Prime Video. The film is scheduled to have its world premiere on July 15. Amazon has released a new trailer today. This 1.24-minute long trailer is different from the earlier released one.

Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, ‘Malik’ is a big-budget semi-period film that spans multiple timelines. Fahadh Faasil plays the leader of a coastal community in it. As the film traverses different periods, he will be appearing in multiple looks. Vinay Forrt, Nimisha Sajayan, Dileesh Pothan, Joju George, Dinesh Prabhakar, Indrans, Sudhi Koppa, Chandhunath, yesteryear actress Jalaja and Maala Parvathi will be seen in supporting roles.

‘Malik’ was originally planned for a grand theatrical release in mid-2020 but due to the pandemic, it got delayed multiple times. Though the makers were hopeful of a getting big screen release in May this year, the second wave of pandemic spoilt their plans. Though disappointed, cinephiles are now looking forward to its release on July 15.
