Anange: Here’s the first song from Karthi’s Dev

Karthi’s new movie, ‘Dev’, was is gearing up to hit screens early next year. After the great response to the teaser, the makers have released a new song today. Titled ‘Anange’, this is a typical Harris Jayaraj style funky romantic track. Bharath Sunder, Tippu, Krish, Christopher, Arjun Shandy, Sharanya Gopinath and Hariharan have lent their voices for the songs in the movie.

Written and directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar, ‘Dev’ is being made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Karthi reportedly plays a bike enthusiast in the movie, which is touted to be a travel based action-packed entertainer. Rakul Preet Singh is paired with Karthi. It is their second outing together after last year’s superhit film, ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’.

‘Dev’ also stars Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Nikki Galrani, Vamsi Krishna, Vignesh and Amrutha in supporting roles. Veteran actor Karthik is also said to be playing a cameo role in the film. Its technical crew includes music director Harris Jayaraj, cinematographer Velraj and editor Ruben.

Prince Pictures is producing the movie in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment. It is expected to hit screens early next year.
