Ariyathariyathe: Check out this new song from Ayyappanum Koshiyum

‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ is getting tremendous response at all the centres. Most theatres are running with hull occupancy with even extra shows being added in several centres. Even while the excellent box office run continues, the makers have shared a new video song online. The track titled ‘Ariyathariyathe’ is sung by Kottakal Madhu and lyrics is written by Rafeeq Ahmed.

Jakes Bejoy has composed the song. As Prithviraj had earlier said, ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ has one of the most unusual soundtracks for a mainstream film in Malayalam. ‘Kalakkatha’, a folk number sung by a tribal woman named Nanchamma has become a big hit already.

‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ is written and directed by Sachy. It is the story of two individuals – Ayyappan Nair, a soon-to-retire policeman and Koshy Kurian, a retired havildar. It is centred around a conflict between the two over a legal issue. Biju Menon plays Ayappan Nair and Prithviraj essays the part of Koshy Kurian. Veteran director Ranjith, Anna Reshma Rajan, Siddique, Anu Mohan, Sabumon Abdusamad, Anil Nedumangad, Shaju Sreedhar and many others are part of the supporting cast.
