Ayyappanum Koshiyum success teaser out; Prithviraj-Biju Menon starrer excels at the box office

‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ had hit screens last Friday, and if the response from the first few days is anything to go by, the film has emerged as a true winner. It is getting tremendous response and most theatres are running with hull occupancy with even extra shows being added in several centres. As the excellent box office run continues, the makers have shared a success teaser online.

‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ is written and directed by Sachy. It is the story of two individuals – Ayyappan Nair, a soon-to-retire policeman and Koshy Kurian, a retired havildar. It primarily revolves around the conflict between the two titular characters over a legal issue. Though the plot might sound very thin, it is not. It is an intricately woven tale of revenge with a lot of important socio-political issues addressed.

Biju Menon plays Ayappan Nair and Prithviraj essays the part of Koshy Kurian. The terrific performances of these two actors is the film’s backbone. Veteran director Ranjith, Anna Reshma Rajan, Anu Mohan, Sabumon Abdusamad, Anil Nedumangad, Shaju Sreedhar and many others are part of the supporting cast.
