Beemapalli Song: Check out the first single from Pathinettam Padi

Actor-writer Shanker Ramakrishnan’s directorial debut ‘Pathinettam Padi’ is gearing up for release. As informed earlier, the first single from the movie has been released online. Mammootty shared the song through his official social media handle. The track is rendered by Shahabaz Aman and lyrics is penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Talented young composer AH Kaashif, who is the nephew of maestro AR Rahman, is making his Malayalam debut with this film.

AH Kaashif has worked with his uncle Rahman as a music producer and has also contributed to the background score and songs in films like ‘Mersal’, ‘Beyond the Clouds’ and ‘Sarkar’. Kaashif turned an independent composer earlier this year with the Jyothika starrer ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’.

‘Pathinettam Padi’ is expected to release next month. Its lead cast comprises of teenage actors from all fourteen districts of the state. Besides that, it has some big star presence in Mammootty, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Unni Mukundan, who are all playing cameo roles.
