Brahmastra trailer is all about the VFX and grandeur

The trailer of the much-awaited Bollywood biggie ‘Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva’ has been released. Touted to be a fantasy adventure drama, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as the leads. The trailer is VFX-heavy with much emphasis on getting the visual grandeur right.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahmastra’ is a mythology-based fantasy trilogy with Ranbir and Alia playing the central characters named Shiva and Isha. Amitabh Bachchan essays a role named Professor Arvind Chaturvedi. While Nagarjuna will be seen as archaeologist named Ajay Vashisht, Mouni Roy’s character is named Damayanti, the antagonist. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is also said to be part of the film.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is backing this ambitious project, which will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
