Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui trailer: Ayushmann Khurrana-Vaani Kapoor starrer is an unusual love story

The trailer of ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles has been released. The film has Ayushmann as Manu, a body building enthusiast and Vaani as Maanvi, a Zumba instructor. The two get attracted instantly and fall passionately in love but only later does he realize that there’s a twist. Maanvi is revealed to be a trans woman.

The Abhishek Kapoor directorial is an unusual love story as it is probably the first time in mainstream Indian cinema that such a romantic track is being explored. Despite having an important issue at the core, the film has all the elements of a proper entertainer that will please a commoner.

Leena Sharma, Ssumier Pasricha, Col. Ravi Sharma, Anav Dua and Aarav Dua will be seen in supporting roles. The film produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor is scheduled to hit screens on December 10, 2021.
