The much-awaited Bollywood multi-starrer ‘Kalank’ is getting ready for release this month. The movie’s grand trailer was released a while back in social medias. This Abishek Varman directorial has Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani appear in cameo roles.

This 2-minute-12-second long trailer looks posh and reminds instantly of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films with the grandeur in setting. The movie is an epic love story is set in the 1940s. It marks the return of the popular on-screen pair of the 90s, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt, who enjoyed huge fan following with their sizzling chemistry in movies like ‘Saajan’, ‘Khalnayak’ among others. It is worth a mention that Sridevi was originally supposed to play the female lead but after her tragic demise last year, Madhuri was signed for the role.

Abhishek Varman, who made an impressive directorial debut with ‘2 States’, has also penned the screenplay for ‘Kalank’. Story is written by Shibani Bathija. Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment are jointly producing this movie, which is slated to hit screens worldwide on April 17, 2019.
