Chumma Kizhi: Here comes the first single from Rajinikanth’s Darbar

As informed earlier, the much-awaited first single from Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’ has been released online. The legendary SP Balasubrahmanyam, who has sung some of superstar’s most memorable opening songs, has rendered this track as well. Young sensation Anirudh Ravichander has composed the song and lyrics are penned by Vivek.

‘Darbar’, written and directed by AR Murugadoss, is a mass action-thriller that has Rajinikanth in a police officer’s role. He is playing a cop’s role after nearly two decades. So naturally, expectations are high on the film. Nayanthara is paired opposite him and Nivetha Thomas will be seen as his daughter. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty is making his Tamil debut by playing the villain role. The supporting cast also comprises of Prateik Babbar, Sriman, Yogi Babu, cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s Yograj Singh and many others.

Post-production works are currently progressing at a brisk pace as the makers are working towards a Pongal release early next year. Lyca Productions is producing the film.
