Dhanush and Anirudh reunite after 7 years; Thaai Kelavi song from Thiruchitrambalam out

As reported earlier, Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander are teaming up after 7 years for the star’s upcoming film ‘Thiruchitrambalam’. The makers have released the first song titled ‘Thaai Kelavi’. Dhanush has penned the lyrics as well as sung the track. He has previously worked with Anirudh in blockbuster albums like ‘3’, ‘VIP’, ‘Maari’ and ‘Thanga Magan’.

‘Thiruchitrambalam’ is directed by Mithran Jawahar with whom Dhanush has earlier teamed up in ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’, ‘Kutty’ and ‘Uthamaputhiran’. The film promises to a wholesome entertainer. While Dhanush plays the titular role, the film has Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashi Khanna as the female leads. Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja will also be seen in prominent roles in the film.

‘Thiruchitrambalam’ has Om Prakash as the cinematographer and Prasanna GK as the editor. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is scheduled to hit screens on August 18.
