Drishyam 2 trailer gets positive feedback in social medias!

The trailer of Mohanlal starrer ‘Drishyam 2’ was supposed to be released on February 8. However, a technical mistake from the Amazon Prime team lead to the trailer getting leaked. It soon spread like wildfire in social medias forcing the Amazon team to release the trailer through their official YouTube channel. The response from fans as well as general audience have so far been positive. The 2.27-minute long trailer has enough elements to raise one’s curiosity as what happens to Georgekutty’s family next.

As confirmed by the makers, ‘Drishyam 2’ continues exactly from where the first part ended. According to director Jeethu Joseph, the film will be more intense and emotional this time. From the trailer, we learn that Georgekutty is a theatre owner and a film producer now. Though it seems like the family has overcome all the troubles and leads a happy life now, the trauma of having committed a grave crime still haunts them. Police officials are still investigating the case and it remains to be seen if the family gets exposed this time.

Mohanlal Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Siddique, Asha Sharath and Aneesh Menon are reprising their roles. Murali Gopy, Ganesh Kumar, Sai Kumar and Anjali Nair are some of the new additions to the cast.

Antony Perumbavoor is producing the film under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. It is scheduled for premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 19.
