Eeswaran trailer out; Simbu’s comeback film looks like a regular mass entertainer

As announced earlier, the makers of Simbu’s new film ‘Eeswaran’ have released the trailer online. The trailer is every bit as expected with typical hero elevation shots, action sequences, punch dialogues and all that is usually seen in a mass masala flick. The film written and directed by Susienthiran looks like a family entertainer set in a rural backdrop.

‘Eeswaran’ is highly anticipated by Simbu fans as it marks the star’s comeback after a long break. Prior to the film’s shoot, the actor had undergone a massive transformation by sheding oodles of weight. With a lean bearded look, the actor looks young and robust similar to his appearance in his early 2000 films.

‘Eeswaran’ has veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja playing an important role. Nidhi Aggarwal essays the female lead’s part. The film has Thaman handling the music department and Tirru in charge of cinematography. It is produced by Madhav Media and D Company. The film is scheduled for a grand Pongal release on January 14.
