Excellent response for Etharkkum Thunindhavan first single!

The makers of Suriya starrer ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ had recently released the first single from the film. Titled ‘Vaad Thambi’, it is probably the film’s opening song. Composers Anirudh Ravichander and GV Prakash have sung the track, which is set to tunes by D Imman. Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan has penned the lyrics. Within 3 days of its release, the lyric video has already fetched over 2.5 million views in YouTube.

Directed by Pandiraj, ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ promises to be a rural action-packed entertainer. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the film is inspired from the Pollachi sexual assault case.

Priyanka Arul Mohan, who was recently seen in ‘Doctor’, is the female lead. Vinay plays the antagonist’s role. Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasan, Devadarshini, Subbu Panchu Arunachalam and Saran are part of the supporting cast.

The film has Rathnavelu as the cinematographer and D Imman as the music director. AnbAriv duo has choreographed the stunts. The makers have announced that the film will be hitting screens on February 4, 2022.
