Extraordinary response for Sarkar teaser across social medias

Last evening, the teaser of Vijay’s upcoming movie Sarkar was released online. As expected, the teaser has created a storm in social medias. Within hours of its release, the teaser has shattered multiple records in YouTube. As of now, it has clocked a whopping 11 million views and 1 million likes. If the massive response for the teaser is anything to go by, the movie will set the box office on fire, when it hits screens on November 6.

Sarkar directed by AR Murugadoss is a political thriller that has Vijay playing a multi millionaire businessman. Circumstances force him to land in politics and he initiates a public uprising. The movie basically discusses about the importance of voting and how an ideal government should function. From the teaser, it is evident that the movie will be a treat for the fans as Vijay’s screen presence and trademark mannerisms are in plenty.

Keerthy Suresh is paired with Vijay in the movie. Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar is also there in an important character. Pala Karuppaiah, Radha Ravi, Livingston, Yogi Babu, Prem and many others are also part of the supporting cast. The technical crew includes DOP Girish Gangadharan, music director AR Rahman and editor Sreekar Prasad. The movie is being produced under the banner of Sun Pictures
