Fahadh Faasil nails it in this stunning trailer of Trance

The hugely awaited Malayalam film ‘Trance’ is hitting screens this Thursday (February 20). It is after a wait of over two years that the film is finally getting a release. Anwar Rasheed is directing the film that boasts of a star-studded cast and crew. Its hugely anticipated trailer has just been shared online by the makers and it looks every bit stunning.

Easily among the best trailer cuts in Malayalam, it does not give any idea about the film’s plot. From certain dialogues and shots, cinephiles in social medias have predicted it to be a film about lucid dreams but we will have to wait till the release to know more.

Fahadh Faasil appears in multiple getups in the trailer and he looks absolutely convincing. ‘Trance’ has him playing the role of a motivational trainer named Viju Prasad. Debutant Vincent Vadakkan has scripted the film. The narrative revolves around Viju Prasad’s mental and emotional growth at different phases of his life. His journey starts from Kanyakumari and ends in Amsterdam.

Nazriya Nazim, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Soubin Shahir, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan, Dileesh Pothan, Arjun Ashokan, Sreenath Bhasi and many others are part of the cast. Cinematographer Amal Neerad, composers Jackson Vijayan and Sushin Shyam, editor Praveen Prabhakar and sound designer Resul Pookutty form the film’s core technical team.
