Glimpse of Liger: Vijay Deverakonda packs a strong punch!

The first glimpse of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming pan-Indian film ‘Liger’ is out. Directed by Puri Jagganadh, it is an action-packed entertainer made on a big scale. Vijay Deverakonda plays a youngster who makes it to the international kick boxing arena from the streets of Mumbai. Ramya Krishnan plays his mother’s role while Ronit Roy essays the role of his coach.

From the first glimpse of ‘Liger’, we can see that Vijay Deverakonda has undergone a massive physical transformation. The actor looks beefed up with a ripped physique. As part of preparations for the film, he underwent formal training in martial arts.

‘Liger’ marks legendary boxer Mike Tyson’s acting debut in Indian cinema. He will be seen in a crucial cameo role in the film. Bollywood actress Ananya Panday plays the female lead. The film also stars Makarand Deshpande and Vishu Reddy in important roles.

Karan Johar is presenting the Hindi version of ‘Liger’. Charmee Kaur, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta are also part of the production. The film is planned to be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.
