Here’s the song rendered by Mohanlal and Shreya Ghoshal from Neerali

As informed earlier by the makers, the first song from Neerali has been released today in social media. Mohanlal and Shreya Ghoshal have sung this romantic track set to tunes by Stephen Devassy. Interestingly, Mohanlal is lending his voice for a movie song after a gap of six long years. The last song he rendered was ‘Attumanal Payayil’ in Joshiy’s Run Baby Run, which was released back in 2012.

Neerali directed by Ajoy Varma is touted to be an action-packed adventure thriller. The movie scripted by Saju Thomas has Mohanlal playing the role of Sunny George, a gemologist by profession. Nadhiya Moidu, who is making her comeback to Malayalam, is playing his wife in the movie.

Suraj Venjaramoodu, Parvathi Nair, Dileesh Pothan, Sai Kumar, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Megha Mathew, and Nasser are part of the supporting cast. Neerali’s technical crew includes noted Bollywood cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil and composer Stephen Devassy. Director Ajoy Varma is handling the edits with Sajit Unnikrishnan.

Neerali was slated for an Eid release but latest reports suggest that release might get pushed to a later date due to Nipah outbreak in the Malabar regions. An official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited. Santhosh T Kuruvilla’s Moonshot Entertainment is co-producing the movie jointly with John Thomas and Mibu Jose Nettikdan.
