Here’s the stunning trailer of Aashiq Abu’s Virus

The much awaited trailer of Aashiq Abu directorial Virus has just been released. The 3-minute long trailer is highly promising and it looks like a first of its kind movie in Malayalam. The movie is based on last year’s deadly Nipah outbreak in Kerala. The trailer captures the Virus outbreak, the panic and the social disorder that followed in the city of Kozhikode.

‘Virus is scripted by Muhsin Parari of ‘Sudani From Nigeria’ fame and Suhas-Sharfu, the writers of ‘Varathan’. The movie boasts of a huge star cast that comprises of Revathy, Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith Sukumaran, Parvathy, Rima Kallingal, Poornima Indrajith, Remya Nambeesan, Madonna Sebastian, Soubin Shahir, Rahman, Dileesh Pothan, Savitri Sreedharan, Sarasa Balussery, Shebin Benson, Jinu Joseph, Basil Joseph, Indrans, Sharafudheen, Sreenath Bhasi, Joju George, Senthil Krishna, Sudeesh and Vettukili Prakash.

‘Virus’ also has a strong technical crew comprising of cinematographers Rajeev Ravi and Shyju Khalid, music director Sushin Shyam and editor Saiju Sreedharan. Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal are producing the movie under the banner of OPM. It is scheduled to hit screens on June 7.
