Here’s the trailer of Biju Menon’s Padayottam!

Biju Menon’s Padayottam has been in the making for sometime now. The movie is finally gearing up to hit screens for Onam. Debutant Rafeek Ibrahim is directing this movie, which is touted to be a serious comedy. Official trailer of the movie Asif Ali released today by actor Prithviraj through his social media handle.

It is an interesting trailer that has gives hints of a fun filled entertainer. Biju Menon plays the role of Chenkal Raju, a pucca-gangster based in the Chenkal Choola region in Trivandrum. The actor is seen sporting a rugged mass look in the movie. With a host od supporting actors like Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup, Anu Sithara, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Basil Joseph, Sudhi Koppa and Harish Kanaran, the movie promises to be a laugh riot.

Padayottam is scripted jointly by newcomers Arun AR and Ajai Rahul. According to the makers, the movie is a serious comedy on the lines of Delhi Belly and Jigarthanda.
Satheesh Kurup is the cinematographer and Prashanth Pillai is handling the music department. Sophia Paul is producing the movie under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters.
