Idhayane: Here’s the new song from Velaikkaran!!

Velaikkaran, the most anticipated Tamil film of the season, is gearing up to hit screens on December 22 as a Christmas release. As the release date is nearing, the makers have released the lyric video of ‘Idhayane’, a beautiful romantic track from the movie. This song is penned by Madhan Karky and rendered by composer Anirudh and Neeti Mohan. The lead pair Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara feature in the video.

Velaikkaran, directed by Mohan Raja is a commercial entertainer with a very relevant social message in it. While the director’s previous film Thani Oruvan was about medical mafia, Velaikaaran is said to be about food adulteration and how a slum dweller fights against the corrupt system. The makers have dedicated this movie to the working class people.

The movie has an elaborate star cast which includes Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, Sneha, Prakash Raj, Vijay Vasanth, Robo Shankar, Thambi Ramiah, Rohini, RJ Balaji, Sathish and Thambi Ramiah among others. RD Raja is funding this movie under the banner of 24 AM Studios.
