John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi in Mumbai Saga; Watch teaser here!

‘Mumbai Saga’ is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action crime film directed by Sanjay Gupta. The film stars John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi as the leads. It has an ensemble supporting cast comprising of Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, Mahesh Manjrekar, Prateik Babbar, Samir Soni, Amole Gupte and Gulshan Grover. The film’s teaser has been released online.

‘Mumbai Saga’ set in 80s and 90s has Amartya Rao, a gangster and Emraan Hashmi as a daredevil cop. The teaser has nothing new to offer. Its style is reminiscent to director Sanay Gupta’s own films ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ and ‘Shootout at Wadala’.

‘Mumbai Saga’ shoot started in August 2019 and was halted in March 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic but resumed in June 2020. The makers eventually managed to wrap up shoot in October 2020. It is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on 19 March 2021. This is set to be Bollywood’s first big-canvas release since the lockdown was imposed last March.
