Kaatil: Check out this new song from Tovino’s Mayaanadhi

Promising young filmmaker Aashiq Abu is back after a gap of two years with Mayaanadhi, an intense love story. Tovino Thomas and Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela fame Aishwarya Lekshmi play the lead roles in this movie, slated to hit screens on December 22 as a Christmas release.

Last day, the makers released the new song video from the movie. ‘Kaatil’, the song is penned by talented young lyricist Vinayak Sasikumar and is composed by Rex Vijayan. Musician Shahabaz Aman has lent his voice for this soulful track. ‘Uyirin Nadhiye’, the first song, which was released earlier this month, has emerged as a chart buster as well.

Mayaanadhi is said to be a romantic thriller. It is jointly scripted by Dileesh Nair and Shyam Pushkar. The movie has an elaborate supporting cast which includes Aparna Balamurali, Harish Uthaman, Leona Lishoy, Nizhalgal Ravi and Soubin Shahir among others. Directors Lijo Jose Pellissery and Basil Joseph also appear in cameo roles in the movie.

Mayaanadhi is produced jointly by Aashiq Abu’s OPM Dream Mill Cinemas and Santhosh T Kuruvila’s Moonshot Entertainment. Rex Vijayan is handling the music department and Jayesh Mohan has cranked the camera. Saiju Sreedharan is in charge of the edits.
