Kalariyadvum Chuvadinazhakum; Here’s the first song from Kayamkulam Kochunni

Rosshan Andrrews directorial Kayamkulam Kochunni is gearing up for a grand release this Onam. Bobby and Sanjay have scripted the movie which has Nivin Pauly playing the role of legendary highway man Kochunni. As informed earlier by the makers, first song from the movie has been released today in social medias.

Titled as ‘Kalariyadvum Chuvadinazhakum’, this romantic number is sung by Vijay Yesudas and Shreya Ghoshal. Gopi Sunder has composed the song and Shobin Kannangattu has penned the lyrics. Nivin Pauly and Priya Anand feature in the song video.

Kayamkulam Kochunni is an epic period flick set in the 18th century. Sunny Wayne, Shine Tom Chacko, Babu Antony, Priyanka Thimmesh, MS Bhaskar and many others are part of the cast. Its technical crew includes three leading cinematographers Binod Pradhan, Nirav Shah and Sudheer Palsane. The ace Sreekar Prasad is editing the movie and sound design is handled by national award winner PM Satheesh.

Gokulam Gopalan of Sri Gokulam Films has invested a whopping budget of over Rs 40 crores for the movie. Reports suggest that the movie will be releasing on August 15 in over 300 centres across Kerala. Meanwhile, the makers are busy promoting the movie. Contrary to the usual trend in Malayalam cinema, the makers of Kochunni have been investing heavily on promotions to publicize the movie to a wider audience.
