Kalidas Jayaram’s Oru Pakka Kathai trailer released

The trailer of Kalidas Jayaram’s long delayed Tamil film ‘Oru Pakka Kathai’ has been released online. It is an intriguing trailer that gives away very little about the film’s plot. As per the makers, it is a story of love that transpires in a middle class household between two youngsters, that goes awry when the unimaginable happens. Problems that are beyond human control consume this couple unexpectedly turning the focus of the world on them. From the trailer, it seems like the film has supernatural elements in it.

‘Oru Pakka Kathai’ is directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan of ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ and ‘Seethakaathi’ fame. Megha Akash of ‘Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta’ plays the female lead. PV Chandramoulli, Jeeva Ravi, Lakshmi Priya Menon and Meena also play important roles in the film.

OTT platform Zee5 recently bagged the film’s streaming rights and it is scheduled to have its premiere on December 25, Christmas Day.
