Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn teaser: Jessie from Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is back!

Recently, actress Trisha had hinted about working on a project with director Gautham Menon. There were many speculations in social medias regarding the project and as it turns out, it is a lockdown short film that has Trisha reprising her character Jessie from the superhit film ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’ (VTV) The short film has been titled as ‘Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn’ and its teaser got released online last day.

‘VTV’ released in 2010 had Trisha and Simbu in the lead roles. The film was a big success and it is widely regarded as one of the best Tamil romantic films of all time. Director Gautham Menon has often spoken about making a sequel to the film and this shortfilm seems like a teaser of what is to come.

‘Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn’ is expected to be online very soon. The teaser features Jessie speaking over phone to Karthik and motivating him about his filmmaking career. Trisha’s mother Uma Krishnan shot the video.
